Go into your Quest Journals then scroll down to the bottom and you will find Ascension.
This will open your Angelic and Demonic Paths.
The Ascension system provides a powerful way to strengthen your character through permanent passive upgrades, unique cosmetic unlocks, and special equipment bonuses.
Getting Started
All players begin on the Angelic Path. This is the first Ascension path available and must be completed before any further progression can be made.
As you progress through the Angelic Path, you'll unlock a variety of passive bonuses that enhance your character's overall performance.
Unlocking the Demonic Path
The Demonic Path becomes available only after the Angelic Path has been fully completed.
Once unlocked, the Demonic Path offers an additional progression route with its own set of powerful upgrades and rewards.
Ascension Benefits
Progressing through the Ascension system grants numerous passive bonuses, including:
- Increased damage output
- Faster movement speed
- Additional combat enhancements
- Various utility and quality-of-life improvements
These bonuses remain active once unlocked, making Ascension a valuable long-term progression system.
Ascension Crystals
Ascension Crystals are the primary currency used to level both the Angelic and Demonic Paths.
How to Obtain Ascension Crystals
Ascension Crystals are dropped by Tormented Demons located within the Rift.
To maximize your progression:
- Enter the Rift.
- Defeat Tormented Demons.
- Collect Ascension Crystals from their drops.
- Use the crystals to unlock and upgrade nodes within your Ascension paths.
Angelic & Demonic Hit Splats
As you advance through Ascension, you can unlock exclusive Angelic and Demonic Hit Splats.
These unique hit splats provide a visual way to showcase your progression and achievements within the Ascension system.
Ascension Equipment
The Ascension system includes a dedicated Ascension Equipment Interface.
Any gear placed into this interface will automatically grant its associated bonuses, allowing you to benefit from the equipment without needing to wear it directly.
Hiding Ascension Gear
Players can choose to hide the appearance of their Ascension equipment while still receiving all of its bonuses and stat boosts.
This allows you to:
- Keep your preferred character appearance.
- Continue benefiting from Ascension equipment stats.
- Customize your look without sacrificing power.
